Breast augmentation, or more technically known as augmentation mammoplasty is a surgical procedure performed to improve breast shape and mainly to enhance breast size by means of implant prostheses. It is a safe procedure with excellent results, that is why today is one of the most commonly performed operations, both in Spain and other countries in the world.

The female breast is a part of the body that undergoes continuous evolution throughout life. Its growth and development occur until approximately 18 years and reaches subject to change size at different stages such as menstrual periods, pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Through breast augmentation can improve breast size small or low volume. Although mammoplasty gives very good results for a large number of problems, most often breast augmentation operations are due more to reasons of an aesthetic nature: increase the size of the breast.
